Finally a new design! GLaDOS will be premiering on the runway at the Tomo Neko Maid Cafe during their Darling Army Fashion Show! I have been waiting sooooo long for this one! All of the details are in vinyl, so it’s super durable. It will walk down the runway with Companion Cube =3 So excited to have finally finished it!

I was tipped off by a Deviant Art watcher that my design was in Game Informer and ten minutes later recieved a call from a friend verifying it. I just checked the mail and pulled out the December 2012 issue of Game Informer and I really am there! So excited! They features Darling Army in their 2012 Holiday Gift Buying Guide. I can’t believe it! I feel like they should have asked first, but I’m not complaining. Yay! So much excite!

This makes me feel like maybe my dreams can come true. Maybe I can make a living from designing cute geek stuff for girls. I know it’s sad to need a magazine feature for validation, but I can’t help it.

Truffula Tree - The Lorax - Cosplay Pinafore

Woooo. I am way happy with how this pinafore turned out but boy was it frustrating! This was a commission for a lovely girl who is dressing up with her husband who will be the Once-ler for Halloween. We worked together to find a design that she loved and I could provide, but boy was it complicated! Each piece is done in hadncut felt. Each stripe was individually sewn before everything was blanket stitched with nylon quilting thread. it was totally worth it, though. It is breathtaking in-person!  <3

I finally had a Firefly commission! Yay! I have this phobia of watching shows that I know are short, so I haven’t quite gotten the chance to watch it since I know it ends after one season and a movie! But, anywho, here he is!

You can see all the details, but the colors are fantastic together in-person. The skirt also has a brown stripe on either side just like Mal’s pants =X All it needs is a gun holster and it’s ready to captain the Serenity!

Doctor Who - Eleventh Doctor  - Matt Smith - Inspired Cosplay Skirt

I finally got to the Doctor skirt ^_^ It is a seamless circle skirt with an elastic waist band. It features satin elastic “suspenders” that are sewn to the skirt. I even added extra bow ties for extra bow tie funsies =D I wish I had a better shirt. The one displayed is a Medium that I bought becuase it was the only one left when myself and the dressform are a Small. Oh well. It still makes me giddy ^_^ I made an extra for myself that I think I’ll wear to the Disneyland Mickey Mouse Halloween party/event <3
